Debbie DeGroff

AS A CHILD, DEBBIE DEGROFF
SPENT HER DAYS READING.
AND THEN SHE BECAME A MOTHER.

Debbie DeGroff loved to read. As a child, her parents' business was close to the library. She would take out stacks of books.

When she had a young son, she looked for books for her son - and found many things she was not looking for. The books were not what she expected.

That started her on a 30-year quest. She noticed that the content kept changing. The bar kept moving. The goal of the books was, ever more, to create social justice warriors.

Plus there was the sexualization of children.

There has been much learning - such as, that Kinsey's findings were shown to be fake, but they were not thrown out.
